We take pride in providing good quality food for our customers. And we want to make sure that putting a healthy, great tasting meal on your family table doesn’t cost the earth. That's why our commitment to sustainable agriculture is so important – making sure that Asda offers the best products, both now and in the future.

There are many challenges that have to be met to be able to achieve our ambition. This isn’t an issue for a single sector or group of the food chain. It stretches from the field to the food waste that goes into the bin. There are no quick and easy solutions but rather a resolute commitment to making the food system better for producers and customers.

Here at Asda, we recognise the significant strides that the industry is making and, as part of our contribution, we use the UK Red Tractor Scheme for our farming standards, displaying the logo on as many of our products as possible. We also use production scheme certification marques such as Rainforest Alliance to help our customers to make informed purchasing decisions.
